Khasta Roti

Ingredients: (Serves: 2 )

Recipe Cook Time: 25 Minutes

 
  • 2 cups atta (whole-wheat flour) 
  • 2 tsp Jerseyghee
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup Jersey milk 
  • 1/2 tsp jeera (cumin seeds) 
  • Salt - to taste 
  • JerseyGhee - to add while making the rotis

Directions

  1. Mix baking powder, cumin seeds, salt and Jerseyghee with the flour thoroughly. 
  2. Add Jerseymilk and knead to a soft dough.
  3. Make balls of the dough and roll out like rotis and fry on atawa, adding Jerseyghee, over a medium flame. 
  4. Serve it with Jersey butter.
